What is the purpose of permanent makeup?

Permanent makeup enhances natural features, adds definition and creates long lasting symmetry without daily makeup. It is ideal for anyone who fills in their brows, applies eyeliner regularly or wants more color and shape in their lips. What are microblading and the powder technique?

Microblading creates the look of individual hair strokes for a soft, natural brow. The powder technique offers a fuller, more shaded finish similar to brow makeup. Both styles can be customized, and during your consultation, we help determine which technique best suits your aesthetic, skin type and lifestyle.

What is the process?

The process includes a consultation, the procedure and an eight-week touch up for most clients. During the consultation, Seung evaluates your skin, tone and facial structure, then designs a custom brow shape and selects the right pigment. Once the design is approved, the procedure begins. The touch up fine tunes color and detail after the skin has fully healed.

How much does it cost?

Brows are 750. Lip blush is 900. Basic top and bottom eyeliner is 650. Full face microneedling is 600 and individual scar or wrinkle zones are 250. Financing through Cherry is available.

How long does the appointment take?

 

A combined consultation and procedure typically takes 2 to 2.5 hours. A consultation alone is 30 minutes.

Will I need an eight-week touch up?

Most clients do. Skin naturally exfoliates and lightens pigment during healing, so a touch up allows us to deepen color, refine the shape and perfect your final result. Healing takes 6 to 8 weeks, and we cannot perform additional work before the skin is fully healed.

 

Is the procedure painful?

Clients describe the sensation as mild discomfort to moderate depending on their personal pain tolerance. Numbing is available and widely used. Many compare the feeling to brow threading or tweezing.

Can my brows be perfectly even and will I still use brow makeup?

We can create highly symmetrical brows, but perfect mirror-image symmetry is limited by natural facial muscles. Most clients do not need brow makeup afterward, though it can still be used if desired to modify or enhance the look.

 

Will it look fake or overdone?

Not at Tashi Brow Studio. Our work is rooted in natural aesthetics. Shapes are measured to your facial structure and pigments are chosen based on skin tone and color theory. We only proceed with a design when we are confident it complements you.

 

What is a good age to start permanent makeup?

Clients must be at least 18. With parental consent, younger clients can be treated, though we encourage the decision to come from genuine personal preference.

 

What can I expect to gain from permanent makeup?
